We were just at Disney and got caricatures of my kids. My youngest wanted one of our dog who recently passed away, and I regret not doing it. Is it possible for an artist to draw one from photos and ship it? I’d happily pay for the artwork and shipping.

Hi Crystal! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how deeply those losses are felt by the whole family. We still miss our family pet, and she's been gone for years. Finding a way to commemorate them is always a path toward healing.

The talented artists at Disneyland Resort are sometimes able to work from a photograph to create your treasured caricature. You can absolutely bring your sweet pup's photo with you the next time you visit the parks to see if the Cast Member currently working to make magic could do something special to capture the special spirit of your family pet. However, there's no way to remotely purchase a caricature.

I'm sorry if that's not the information you were hoping for today! Those pieces of art are part of the magic of a visit to the parks, rather than something we can order online, unfortunately. It would be so handy if we could order one like picking out some fantastic merchandise from the Disney Store! In the meantime, look for your favorite photo that you'd want to use and make it a part of your plan for your next trip. Planning for the fun is always part of the magic for me.

    I hope this helps!
