Hiya, John! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your question.
Considering that Walt Disney World is larger than the island of Manhattan and the city of Miami, it’s not uncommon for new and seasoned explorers alike to need directions. Before we get started, make sure you’ve downloaded the My Disney Experience app to your mobile device. This app helps you to manage your tickets and make reservations, and it provides step-by-step directions to most locations around the resort. I end up using this feature every time I visit.
Your primary transportation option to get to the Magic Kingdom from Caribbean Beach Resort will be
Walt Disney World’s complimentary bus system. The buses pick up at stops around the resort and at Old Port Royale, the resort’s main lobby building, and they will take you directly to the Magic Kingdom. Travel times will differ depending on the date and time you’re visiting, but My Disney Experience estimates it to be a 56-minute journey at the time I’m writing this.
Buses generally depart every 20 minutes, but schedules and availability are subject to change. If you’re looking for a quicker option, I’d suggest booking a
Minnie Van through the Lyft app. This is a paid private car that can take you to most locations around Walt Disney World, including the Magic Kingdom. I especially like using the Minnie Van service when I’m traveling between hotels and direct bus service isn’t available.
I hope this information is useful, John, and that you have an easy breezy time getting to the Magic Kingdom on your upcoming vacation. Pop right back if you have any other questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
