Can I use Disney cards to pay of my balance?

    Welcome to planDisney, Christine!

It sounds as if you are planning an adventure to Walt Disney World Resort in the near future. How exciting! I am sure that everyone in your travel party is getting excited. If you have booked a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, I am happy to report you can absolutely use Disney gift cards to pay your balance. You can apply Disney gift cards to your remaining balance through your My Disney Experience account. Log in to your account through the Walt Disney World website (payments cannot be processed through the My Disney Experience app), and select the My Plans option from the drop-down menu. Below your resort hotel details will be your remaining balance and an option to Make a Payment. Select this link to apply the gift card to your account in a few easy steps. Should your booking be a room-only reservation (hotel accommodations without tickets) you can apply a gift card to your balance when you arrive at your resort. Just stop by the front desk to have a friendly Cast Member apply the card to your hotel reservation balance.

You can also use Disney gift cards throughout Walt Disney World Resort after you arrive. Gift cards are accepted in most dining and merchandise locations. Should you wish to apply gift cards to purchase charged to your Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotel during your stay, a Cast Member at the front desk will also be able to assist you with this. Just be sure to stop by before checking out of your resort.

I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
