Do the Disney cabins have a drip coffee maker?

    Welcome to planDisney, Jeanette!

Adventure is out there! Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a truly magical place. My wife is from the Pacific North West and so I have a soft spot for the pine and cypress forest vibe. I easily forget that I'm in Central Florida whenever I step foot on this scenic resort. The wilderness must be explored! There are so many amazing and fun things to do in this area of Walt Disney World that I'm sure you're in for some core memory days. Have you ever eaten at Trail's End Restaurant? My mouth is starting to salivate just thinking about that pecan-smoked brisket, smoked chicken, and andouille sausage.

The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort include full kitchens, with a full-size refrigerator, sink, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and (*drumroll please*) Cuisinart drip pot coffee maker. Next to your refrigerator, you'll find a coffee station with a healthy supply of Joffrey's coffee (regular and decaf), as well as creamer, sugar, and stirrers. You'll also have extra cups too. If you need a break from coffee, then you'll also find tea bags. As Mrs. Potts once said, “I have found that most troubles seem less troubling after a bracing cup of tea.” As an Englishman, I heartily agree! If you ever run out of any of these items, you can simply call Guest Relations from your cabin and they'll happily refill your supply.

Jeannette, at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, there are a few magical experiences you should know about. First, the Wilderness Back Trail Adventure is a beautiful tour that includes taking a Segway to view the wonderful scenery of the Florida countryside. Second, you can even go horseback riding through an idyllic woodland teeming with deer, ducks, armadillos, and rabbits. If horseback riding isn't your thing, you can even just visit Tri-Circle-D Ranch and see the animals. Finally, one of the coolest things I've done from this resort is taking the water taxi over to Magic Kingdom Park as Disney Enchantment was starting. It was like getting a free fireworks cruise!

I trust you'll have a wonderful time, Jeanette. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
