Is there Disney bus transportation between parks? I'm hoping to park hop (without a car) from Hollywood Studios to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom to EPCOT, and Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom. Do the busses come frequently and run until close? Thanks!

Hiya Sara! Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney. I’m so happy you’re here!

It might not seem like it just yet, but the final countdown to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is officially on! In just two short months, you will be on the adventure of a lifetime, enjoying all that Walt Disney World has to offer! Did you know that you'll be visiting during The World's Most Magical Celebration in honor of Walt Disney World's 50th? It is such a special time to be in the parks, with sprinklings of EARidescent pixie dust around every corner. I just know you’re going to love every minute! Do keep an eye out for the celebratory bites available throughout the parks. These delicious treats are only available for a limited time, so be sure to try a few before they're gone!

OK, let’s get to your question! I am happy to share that the complimentary Walt Disney World Bus Service does run between the theme parks. So, you can just take the bus as you hop between parks during your vacation. Just head to the bus station outside the park, and look for the bus station that is going to the next park you plan to visit. Then, just hop on board, and you are on your way!

Now, the buses generally run every 20 minutes, but there can be delays from time to time. So, I always recommend giving yourself between 45-60 minutes to get from place to place. Better safe than sorry, I always say! The buses start running about 45 minutes before the earliest park opening and will continue to run up to one hour after park close.

Sara, don't forget to make sure you have your Park Pass Reservations set ahead of your visit. As a reminder, you'll need to make a reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, since it sounds like you’ve purchased the Park Hopper Option for your ticket, you can hop over to another park after 2 p.m. each afternoon. I always recommend securing your Park Pass Reservations as early as possible, as some parks do get booked up completely.

I do hope this answer has been helpful to you! Please feel free to stop by again with any other questions you may have as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    See you real soon!
