Hey, howdy, hey Patrick! Thanks for moseying on over to planDisney with your question.
Patrick, as a Pennsylvania resident who almost never makes the trek to Florida in a car, I appreciate this question. My family and I have flown into both airports in Orlando and have tested out a few different modes of transportation, so let's talk about getting to
Walt Disney World!
First, to your question, there are no complimentary buses or shuttles from the airport, so you'll want to explore some other options. When my husband and I flew into Orlando Sanford International Airport, we decided to rent a car that was available for pick up right at the airport. There are a few different companies that offer this service from Orlando Sanford and you can view those on the airport website. You also have the option (again, for a fee) of using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. My family has also tried this method and we have had no complaints so far! Now, there are a few local shuttle/bus companies that offer transportation (for a fee) to Walt Disney World and while I don't have personal experience with those, it might be worth your time to research a few options.
Patrick, no matter how you arrive at the Most Magical Place on Earth, I'll be wishing on a star that you have an unforgettable visit. If you have thrill seekers in your party, don't miss the newest attraction at
Magic Kingdom Park:
TRON Lightcycle / Run.
If you have any additional questions, I hope you'll remember that line from Toy Story and come on back to planDisney because...
"you've got a friend in me!"Lauren
