Is there a way to take a Disney bus from Epcot directly to Caribbean Beach instead of using the Skyliner? At closing time the Skyliner queue is very long.

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Robert!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! There’s nothing quite like the anticipation of stepping into a place where MAGIC fills the air and every day feels like an adventure waiting to happen. From classic attractions to Mickey-shaped snacks and those unforgettable fireworks, there is joy tucked into every corner. Get ready to make memories that last long after you’ve headed home!

This is such a great question, and I totally get it! After an AH-mazing day exploring EPCOT (and maybe snacking your way around World Showcase), the last thing you want is to end the night waiting in a super-long Skyliner line. Unfortunately, Disney buses don’t usually run directly between EPCOT and Caribbean Beach Resort, since the Skyliner is the primary mode of transportation for that route. But don’t worry, because here are a few options to make your way back without waiting in line for a long time!

If you would rather skip the Skyliner, one easy workaround is to walk or take a Friendship Boat from EPCOT to Hollywood Studios — it’s about a 25-minute stroll or a relaxing boat ride away. From there, you can hop on a Caribbean Beach bus, since buses run from Hollywood Studios to all Disney resorts. It takes a little extra time, but it’s a cozy, sit-down ride instead of a standing wait.

Another idea is to use a Minnie Van, Disney’s own ride service operated through the Lyft app. It’s a super convenient—and charming—way to travel directly from EPCOT to Caribbean Beach. After you exit the park, just head toward the rideshare pickup area near the main entrance, located past the bus stops and parking lot trams. Open the Lyft app, select a Minnie Van, and before you know it, a friendly Cast Member will whisk you away in a polka-dotted van right to your resort. It’s quick, comfortable, and keeps the Disney enchantment going even after you’ve left the park!

I hope this information helps you in your planning. If you have other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
