Hey there, Amaris! Welcome to planDisney! Can you believe your magical trip to
Walt Disney World is just one month away? The excitement is building! Don't forget to bring a poncho, sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable shoes – they're essential for a great time!
At this moment, there's still no news about the merchandise delivery service from years ago, so I can't say if it's coming back. I know it's not the answer you wanted, but I'd love to share some tips and info to make your shopping experience better. I understand the frustration of not being able to pick up all the amazing merchandise without carrying bags. I'm here for you and happy to help!
My first tip is to
rent a locker at the theme parks. There are three different size options available. Renting a locker is a great way to enjoy your day at your own pace without carrying around all your purchases. At the end of the day, you can quickly grab all your items and return to your hotel. Additionally, many merchandise locations stay open after the park closes, so you can complete your shopping without worrying about it during the day and waiting for the crowds to dissipate. The
Emporium at Magic Kingdom and the
Creations Shop at EPCOT are my favorite spots for this strategy.
If you're considering buying a large item, such as a
handbuilt lightsaber from Savi's Workshop, you can choose to have it shipped directly to your home. There's a nominal fee for this service, but it's worth it knowing that your prized purchase will be waiting for you when you return. Simply approach any Cast Member at a merchandise location, and they will assist you in setting up the shipment.
I hope these tips make your shopping experience even more enjoyable, Amaris! If you have any more questions before your trip,
please feel free to come back anytime and ask away. It's always a pleasure to help out our friends like you!
Cheers
Nilson
