We are going to Disney & will be bringing our 2 & 5 year old what type of stroller would you recommend?

    Hi, there!

Kenny, I am just thrilled to hear you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. You and your family must be so excited!

A Disney vacation is always memorable, but especially so with little ones in tow. There is nothing quite like seeing your child's face light up with joy as they're immersed in the magic of Disney storytelling!

As a mom of three, a stroller is an absolute must-have for my family's Disney vacations. Pixie-dusted adventures in the theme parks require a lot of walking, and those little legs tire quickly! My absolute favorite double stroller is the City Mini Double. There's lots to love about this stroller! The shades are extra-large, which keeps my kiddos protected from that hot Orlando sun. I also appreciate that the seats recline completely flat. My youngest often takes a snooze in the stroller, and she can comfortably nap with the seat reclined. There's plenty of storage space underneath the stroller for my park backpack and any souvenirs we purchase throughout the day. The City Mini Double stroller is also extra great if you plan to utilize Disney bus transportation. It folds quickly and easily, which makes boarding a bus with two little ones a breeze!

It's important to note that strollers must be no larger than 31" in width and 52" in length for entry into the theme parks. Fortunately, the City Mini Double stroller meets those size requirements. These strollers, like most double strollers, are a bit of an investment. You may want to consider renting one for your stay, rather than purchasing one. ScooterBug, Disney's featured rental provider, offers City Mini Double strollers at a very reasonable rental rate. They'll deliver the stroller to your Disney Resort hotel and then pick it up at the end of your stay. How convenient is that?

Finding your stroller among a sea of others can be a bit tricky, so I suggest taking something along with you to make it stand out. I always tie a Mickey Mouse ribbon around the handlebar of our stroller, but I've seen Guest use nameplates, balloons, and even battery-operated twinkle lights!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Kenny. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
