Hi, Courtney!
If you and your pals are booking a vacation package that includes room/tickets/Disney Dining Package then you will all need to be on the same ticket schedule with the number of days. The only way I know to get around this is to book a
"room only" reservation then purchase and add on your
park tickets. Each ticket can purchased, then linked to each guest so the right ticket with the correct amount of days will be linked to the proper guest.
I have never heard of the option to add on an extra day for just one guest when on a Resort Package, but if they allow this to happen, after about 4 days of tickets, additional days are about $15 (plus tax, prices subject to change). Yep, the longer you stay to play, the less you will pay per day! Fun, right?! I would call Disney Reservations directly at (407)W-DISNEY to inquire so you do not have any surprises when you get to check-in and ask for that extra day. If you have a "room only" reservation, you are fine to book whatever combination of tickets you want. Just make sure to make any ticket upgrades within 14 days of its first use and before you use up the final day of on that ticket.
I hope you have a great time hanging out with your friends at
Walt Disney World, and you are a lucky girl getting to extend your stay by a few days. You know, we Moms Panelists love a "girls get-away" trip if you need a few extra party guests :) Have wonderful time!
Cathy
