Hi there, Karen!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you stopped by with your question about your upcoming cruise aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder! With so many onboard activities you are sure to have a WONDERful time!
One of my favorite things about Disney Cruise Line vacations is definitely the onboard Youth Clubs, including the
“it’s a small world” nursery! My boys were under one on their first sailings and I had those same reservations the first time I dropped mine off there, but as it turned out, they really had a wonderful time in their special place! The counselors are excellent and will really ensure that they are enjoying themselves and will really do everything they can to avoid calling you (especially if you are at
Palo enjoying an adult-exclusive dinner or brunch)!
Reservations can be made ahead of your sailing or once onboard, but any
cancellations must be made at least four-hours prior to your reserved time. So, in the event the first time doesn’t go as you hoped, you can cancel your other reservations or reduce the time without penalty as long as you do so within four hours.
They will usually have an Open House time scheduled on embarkation day where you can go in with your littles to get them acclimated to the area and making them feel more comfortable in the space! Check the Daily Navigator for the scheduled Open House hours and try it out!
I am keeping my fingers crossed that they enjoy it as much as my littles did and you can enjoy some time on your own!
Stephanie
