Can I have a Disney birthday cake delivered to the Edison at Disney Springs on my daughter's birthday?

Hi there, Thomas! Welcome to planDisney!

When it comes to celebrating people you love, I can't think of a better backdrop than The Most Magical Place on Earth! Thomas, one of the highlights of my life was planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort for my husband's birthday. Finding little ways to add extra pixie dust to his special day was an absolute joy and I'm so excited to help you do the same for your daughter! Let me just grab my magic wand...

Got it! As my pal Peter Pan says, "Here we go!"

First, you're going to have a great experience dining at The Edison! This has an incredible ambiance and immersive theme that will be a perfect place to celebrate in. I know you're wondering if you can have a Mickey Mouse celebration cake delivered to The Edison. Unfortunately, when looking at the participating restaurants, it doesn't appear that this is one of the options. But never fear! I have a couple of ideas for you that might be practically perfect in every way. First, when checking in for your reservation, I would let the host know that it's your daughter's birthday and see if they could send out one of the incredible desserts from their delectable menu. Second, have you checked out Gideon's Bakehouse? I think this would be the perfect ending to your dining experience at The Edison. The cookies at Gideon's Bakehouse are irresistibly decadent with unique, mouth-watering flavors. In fact, they're SO good that you often have to get on a waitlist to get inside! And you definitely want to get inside, because the atmosphere feels like it belongs to a spooky magician... who makes cookies. If you'd like to visit, I'd suggest getting on the waitlist before you head off to dinner, which should time things just right for you! I'd also recommend getting as many cookies as you're able to (they freeze really well if you want to pop a few out to enjoy in the weeks to come) and trying their Peanut Butter Cold Brew Coffee. I still dream about it.

I have a few more ways that can help you keep the celebration going!
    • Get a complimentary "I'm Celebrating" button for the birthday girl to wear during the trip! Yep, I would recommend that she wears it for the whole trip. Disney birthday celebrations are extra magical and should last longer than a day. You can pick one up from the front desk at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel or at most merchandise counters throughout Walt Disney World Resort. Just ask a Cast Member where the best place to pick one up is!
    • Consider ordering a fun surprise from Disney Floral & Gifts! This is a great way to add a little extra magic to your room while staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. My favorite gifts include snacks, a reusable bag, and balloons!
    • Make her birthday all about her. Let her pick out a special souvenir, or even purchase an Individual Lightning Lane entry for her favorite attraction!
I hope I was able to help you celebrate your daughter on her special day. If you have any other questions, please visit us again!
