My Disney balance for my vacation is due June 30,2024. Is there any possible way I can extend it until July 5?

    Hi Brooke!

Planning a magical getaway to Walt Disney World Resort is always exciting, and I bet you can't wait to experience the magic firsthand! Staying at one of the amazing Disney Resorts Collection hotels is truly an unforgettable experience. Picture yourself taking a mid-day break from the parks, heading back to your resort, and diving into one of the incredible themed pools. Whether you’re staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort with its lush tropical vibe or the whimsical Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, there's a pool perfect for a refreshing dip.

Now, about that final payment due date. If you've booked a Vacation Package through the Walt Disney World Resort website, your final payment is due one month before your check-in date. On the other hand, for room-only reservations, you’ll need to settle the balance at check-in. It sounds like you’ve booked a Vacation Package, so unfortunately, there likely isn’t a way to extend that final payment due date beyond June 30, 2024.

But don’t worry! I highly encourage you to contact the Walt Disney World Resort reservations center directly to discuss your situation. They might be able to offer some guidance or solutions.
If you find you can’t make the final payment by the due date, there's an option to cancel and receive a full refund but you must cancel by the cancellation date to avoid any penalties. You could then potentially re-book your Vacation Package, keeping in mind that rates and offers may change. It’s also worth checking out any Special Offers on the Walt Disney World website, as these can provide different options and price points that might suit your needs better.

Wishing you all the best in your planning! I’m hopeful that with a bit of pixie dust, everything will work out perfectly for your magical vacation. Don't hesitate to contact the Walt Disney World Resort directly—they're always there to help!

    Happy planning!
