Ahoy there, Nicole!! Welcome aboard planDisney!
I know I speak for the entire panel when I say we're so glad to be hearing from so many new friends from Australia and New Zealand recently. I'm excited for everyone to get a chance to see my favorite ship in the fleet,
the Disney Wonder, on your home shores!
As you're likely aware, these
Disney Magic at Sea offerings have sure been popular, and many sailings are already completely filled. As of this message in a bottle, I wasn't able to see any availability but that doesn't mean you're stuck ashore! In fact, at the moment, it seems as if bookings are temporarily unavailable even for us over in the US even for domestic cruises. While these types of interruptions do happen, I would suggest contacting a local travel agent - especially if you are unsure of your preferred travel dates so they can be the ones calling or searching for openings for you and your crew!
If nothing is open at the moment, don't despair, but do keep a weather eye on the website or have your travel agent do the same! And I've got a handy "planDrew-approved" tip for you: while the initial craze of bookings has been like a tidal wave, you may just find that openings occur as the sailings get closer. I've seen previously sold-out cruises have openings, especially around the final payment due dates, especially near the 120-day mark before the sailing. This is often the final day that Guests can cancel without penalties.
Of course, nothing is guaranteed, but any port in a storm, so to speak, right? So, that's a good date to have circled on your calendar.
I hope that helps you at least chart a course for some reconnaissance missions, Nicole, but I'll be hoping you and your crew find an opening to experience
everything that's included on a Disney Cruise Line vacation! Thank you so much for your question, and if any others surface while you continue planning, please let us know here at planDisney!
Best of luck, and may your anchor be tight and your compass true!
Andrew
