Hi! We are going to Disney in August and have (3) character breakfasts scheduled. Our reservations are for 8:30 and they recommended giving ourselves 1.5 hours to get there. Are the resort buses running that early?

    Hi Melissa!

My son and I love eating at Character Breakfasts in Walt Disney World!  You have some options for getting to early morning Character Breakfasts. The first is that Walt Disney World Resorts often will have special early morning buses running for early character dining at the Parks and Resorts. You will have to ask when you get to your Resort if these early morning character dining buses are available and what time that they will be leaving the morning of your Character Breakfasts. Another option is to take a taxi which I would recommend if your Character Breakfast is in a Resort. Typically, a one way taxi fare for anywhere on Walt Disney World Property is less than $20.00 including tip. The taxi will take you directly from your Resort to the Resort that your Character Breakfast is in (otherwise you would have to take a bus to a theme park and then transfer to another bus that is heading to the Resort where your breakfast is at which takes a lot of time).  If your Character Breakfast is in a park, then I would recommend taking a bus directly from your Resort to the park.  The Disney buses that transport guests to the theme parks typically start an hour before that theme park is scheduled to open for that particular day.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is extra magical and that all of your Character Breakfasts are incredible!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
