    We were at Disney Aug-Sept '12 during the free Disney Dining plan. I read they "traditionally" announce their Fall promotion for the free Dining plan in April (that is if they offer it, I know) but do you know if they ever offer it any other tim

    Hi Donna!

    Disney's Free Dining promotion has been very popular and I love being able to take advantage of all the savings.  My family and I are big foodies, so we love to travel during this deal to try out all of Disney's restaurants.  Free Dining was originally offered from mid August through the September months to help boost park attendance during the hurricane season.  The last few years free dining has been offered several different times of the year such as January -March in 2011/2012 and also has been offered August through mid December.  Mousesavers.com is a wonderful resource that includes a historical discount chart to show what promotions Disney has made available the past few years.  I haven't seen a promotion for free dining so far this year, but I'm still hoping that we will see one for late summer and early fall as it has been done every year.  If you have possible dates that you are considering that could fall within a possible "free dining" promotion, you could book now so once the discount is made public you can have it applied to your reservation.  Thank you for visiting us at Disney Parks Moms Panel and let us know if we can answer anymore questions!
