We will be going to Disney in Aug , my husband and I plus 3 kids ages 8,14, and 16. We can't decide where to stay, Want to stay somewhere with a fun pool area and see the fireworks from MK. Would also like the convience of monorail. Any suggestions?

    Hi Lorraine!

Sounds like the Magic Kingdom area resorts are on your wish list for this vacation! These include The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, The Contemporary Resort, and the Polynesian Resort.

All three are deluxe resorts which feature elaborately themed pools with water slides. They also include rooms with a view of Magic Kingdom for an additional costs from which you could watch the fireworks. (Another great place to watch the fireworks from is the beach at the Polynesian.)

It's a tough call between the three. However, they are each very unique, and luckily have plenty to offer in terms of amenities and recreation. In addition to the monorail. you are a short boat trip from The Grand Floridian and The Polynesian to the Magic Kingdom. You can walk to the Contemporary from Magic Kingdom in minutes.

I would not be disappointed staying in any of the three, and would advise you to choose based on the theme of the resort that most captures your family's interests. Or you can come back to the Moms Panel and share more about what you hope to do while on your vacation so we can help you decide the best fit.

     Have a magical vacation!
