We will be in Disney arriving 9/25/11 in the afternoon. What is something that we can do after a busy day of travel for our first night at Disney. We were thinking about the fireworks display but we don't know where to go for them and where to get dinner

    Hello Courtney,

You travel exactly the way my family does - we love spending our first evening at Disney just relaxing and taking it all in!

One of our favorite places to unwind and just ready ourselves for a great Disney vacation is Downtown Disney. There's plenty of places from which to choose to eat. (Raglan Road is my favorite!) And you can shop while the kids go exploring.

Or you could head over to the Polynesian Resort for dinner at 'Ohana.  They dim the lights just as Wishes is about to start so Guests can enjoy the show from the restaurant. Or have dinner at Kona Cafe then head out to the beach and watch the Electrical Water Pageant as it floats through Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon.

No matter what you choose, I hope you and your family have a magical trip!

Meet the Panelist: Monina, Ohio

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
