Going to Disney April 14-21. Since its right after the super busy Easter/Spring Break season and it's the spring - I'm planning for low crowd levels and warm, potentially wet, days. Is that accurate? I'm used to going for Christmas.

Hi Erica! Unfortunately, I don't think I can actually say there is a "low" time at Walt Disney World any more. There are always fun things happening and new things to see and do so it draws guests in. But if you are used to the very busy holiday time I do think you will see a nice difference in the crowds.

The Epcot Flower and Garden festival will still be taking place and Epcot will be a bit busy on the weekends. That is when they will offer some special demonstrations, seminars, HGTV personalities, and of course they Flower Power concerts.

Average temperatures for April range from 60-83 degrees but it can easily be much hotter then that. Actually April is generally drier then March with its average rainfall of only 2.4 inches. March averages about 3.5 inches. It is May that begins the wet months that carry through the summer with the almost predictable afternoon rain showers and storms.  I would definitely take rain poncho or umbrella as it is spring in the south but hopefully you have picked a perfect crowd and weather week for your next Disney vacation!
