Going to Disney in April. We are grandparents taking two 13 year old girls who love water. Walk a little slower. Where is the best place to stay.

    Hi John,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I took a trip with my whole family several years ago with those same requirements. The grandchildren wanted a great pool and my father was having some issues with one of his hips. We chose to stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort.

The Beach Club shares the fabulous Stormalong Bay with Disney's Yacht Club Resort. Stormalong Bay is an incredible three acre "beachside water park area." There is a large sand-bottomed pool, a lazy river and a water slide from a pirate ship!

The Beach Club Resort is also a short walk from Epcot. You can take a boat to Disney's Hollywood Studios or Epcot. You are a bus ride away from the Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom. My dad found it easy to navigate even with his mobility issues.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
