We are going to Disney April 2. I see Disney has added an online check in you can do 10 days before you arrive. What difference does this make to do this? What do you do differently? This is my 4th time and I do not remember having this in the past.

Hi Corina!  This is indeed a new process to help Disney guests make checking in to their resorts as stress free as possible.  When you go on line to register you provide all the correct information such as address and credit card numbers.  When you arrive at your resort you will see a special line for expedited service for you to check in.  They will have your packets ready as well as your keys set up.  The lines will move quickly and you will be on your way to your room if it is ready before you know it.  Lines in the past for check-in have gotten quite long at certain times of the day and this should alleviate that wait.
