Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Troy!
You have asked a great question! In the last few weeks, Guests at the Walt Disney World Resort have seen a slight change with the
Disability Assistance Service (DAS). The DAS is now electronically associated with all members of your party that have valid theme park ticket media (MagicBands or admission tickets), and return times are visible in My Disney Experience accounts. No more worries of losing a DAS Card on the Seven Drawfs Mine Train!
Guests needing accommodations will still need to request a DAS at any theme park Guest Relations Lobby and provide some basic information such as name, party size, and a photo during the registration process. Just like before, any member of the party can go to an attraction to obtain a return time by scanning their media. The active return time will appear in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Once it's time, just head back to the attraction's entrance, where the DAS recipient must touch their media to the Mickey touch point first. The Cast Member will then verify the DAS and allow the rest of the party to scan their media and give instructions for boarding the attraction. After you finish that attraction, you can obtain another return time for a different attraction. Keep in mind that you can only have one active return time at a time.
I hope this helps to clarify the new digital system. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Have a magical day!
Missy
