    Does Disney do anything special for Mother's Day? I've noticed in previous years people have asked questions around something special in Epcot...is that even happening again this year (2015)?

    Hi There Jillian,

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I had the opportunity to celebrate Mother's Day at the Walt Disney World Resort a few years ago and it was one of my most memorable Mother's Days; spending the day with my family at the Walt Disney World Resort made the day extra magical!

    At this time, there are no specific Mother's Day activities scheduled in Epcot. Captain's Grille at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Garden Grove at Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, and The Wave... of American Flavors also at Disney's Contemporary Resort are all offering a special Mother's Day Brunch. Advanced Dining Reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling (407) 939-3463. 

    You may also want to check out Disney Floral & Gifts. They offer some beautiful gifts and treats to help celebrate the occasion, and you can even personalize them if you wish. 

    In the past, Mothers entering Magic Kingdom Park were given carnations to add a special sprinkle of pixie dust to their day. I hope this information helps. Please visit us again if you have any additional vacation planning questions!
