    Does disney do anything for a child bday? My son will be 10 when we are down there.

    Hi Marcella,

    How fun to be celebrating your sons birthday at Disney World! You'll want to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button from guest relations at any park. You can also get one from the front desk at your resort. Have your son wear his button and Cast Members (and many guests) will wish him a Happy Birthday all day long. I also recommend making reservations for a special character dining meal. Make a note of his birthday on the reservation. They will often sprinkle the table in Mickey confetti or do something else to mark the occasion. They'll also bring out a birthday cupcake (or similar treat) and a card signed by the characters who are at that restaurant. Particular surprises vary by restaurant, but you can count on something special at character meals.
