Has Disney announced yet when the Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment in 2024?

Welcome, Leslie thank you for swinging by planDisney with your question.

The convenience of this unique mode of transportation to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios makes zipping back and forth as easy as ever. If you decide to stay at one of the Disney Skyliner Resorts you will not be disappointed. Disney Resorts Collection Hotels allow you to stay inside the magic and keep that magic going even outside of the parks.

Historically this gondola system does go through refurbishments each year. Currently, there have been no announcements for its scheduled maintenance or the dates. For the past two years, it has taken place in January towards the end of the month. Each of the resorts that would be affected by this transportation would have a message on the main page showing the dates. As well as the Disney Skyliner page itself would also show the dates once they are made available. So please keep an eye on those for any updates. If you plan on staying during the weeks surrounding those final weeks of January, you may want to stay at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort or Disney’s Beach Club Resort, which are within walking distance of the same two parks. These sister resorts share one of the best pools around. The Stormalong Bay Pool is a 3-acre water wonderland. This is a perfect getaway from the park days for a nice relaxing swim. My favorite feature would be the lazy river.

I hope this information helps plan your stay. Please do not hesitate to revisit us at planDisney.com anytime and we will be happy to help.

    Have a magical stay,
