    Disney has announced they will be doing a reservation system to get into a specific park. It states that current ticket holders and AP guest will be able to use this system. Does that include an AP guest who hasn’t activated their pass yet?

    Hi, Mike!  Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I'm so happy to hEAR that you're looking forward to a great, big, beautiful tomorrow by planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation for this fall!  I'm also thrilled to hEAR that you have purchased an Annual Pass.  You are going to love taking advantage of all the discounts and benefits that come along with your yEAR of magic as a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder.

    Mike, these are unprecedented times in which to be planning a vacation.  Over the past couple of days, a great deal of information was released concerning what the reopening process will look like for Walt Disney World Resort.  While we are still learning all of the details regarding the reopening as they are released, we do know that due to capacity restrictions, Guests will be required to make theme park reservations to gain admission to the parks.  All existing ticket holders and Annual Passholders will be able to access the theme park reservation system before new tickets are sold.  Walt Disney World Resort will be reaching out to these Guests soon to provide additional details. Guests without valid theme park admission will be able to purchase new tickets and make park reservations at a later date, subject to availability.

    I have not yet heard for certain if this early access to the theme park reservation system will include Guests who have not yet activated their Annual Passes.  I can tell you that in my experience when I first purchased my Annual Pass and linked it to My Disney Experience, I was able to make FastPass+ selections prior to activating my Annual Pass, so that sounds promising for your situation.

    I wish I could give you a more definite answer, but at the moment we do not know all of the details about the theme park reservation system.  More and more information about the entire reopening process will be rolling out over the next several weeks.  Keep checking the Walt Disney World website for new information as it is added, and be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog to hEAR all of the latest news.
