Has Disney announced a date that people can start booking at the new Grand Floridian DVC Villas?

    Hi, Debbie!

This is a great question, one that I would love to find the answer to as well! :-)

As far as we know the Disney Vacation Club expansion at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is scheduled to open in late 2013. Except for that information, DVC has yet to reveal when point charts will be released and booking can be done. As such, I recommend keeping a very close eye on dvcmember.com, which will surely post such information as soon as the details have been decided.

If you'd like to nose around some unofficial sources of information, take a look at allears.net, wdwmagic.com and dvcnews.com, all of which have posted snapshots of construction, conjecture on completion and generally intriguing (but unofficial) information on this very exciting project.

I hope that you and I are among the first DVC Members to book our next trip for a stay in a DVC Villa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Debbie! That will be one special "Welcome Home!"

Send more questions as you think of them; I'd love to help!
