Does Disney allow hotel door decorations?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lillian! I'm so excited that you're just about to leave for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I think it's pretty cool that you want to let your creativity shine through and decorate your door! It's a really popular tradition on Disney Cruise Line to decorate your stateroom door with fun magnets and its great to see that making it's way to the Resort Hotels as well.

The doors at your Resort Hotel are not magnetic like they are on the cruise ships so you need to be careful to not use anything that will damage the door or make a mess. One of my fellow panelists used vinyl window clings to decorate recently and I think that's a great idea! Speaking of windows, I've seen guests decorate their Resort Hotel room windows as well with twinkle lights, drawings of their favorite characters, and even a full display of Minnie Mouse ear headbands. You'll probably see quite a few guests doing this, especially if you're staying at a Value Resort Hotel where it has become pretty popular, so you may want to pick up a couple of small suction cups and easy peel-off tape so you can get in on the fun too!

Safe travels, Lillian, and I hope you have a magical trip!
