Hi there, Tamika!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I am so glad to introduce you and help you navigate the
Disability Access Service (DAS) that the
Disneyland Resort has to offer. At The Happiest Place On Earth,
everyone is welcome.
The DAS is intended for people who have difficulty waiting in a regular queue. This free service is helpful because it allows guests to schedule return times for attractions instead of waiting in line. Tamika, I see that you were planning a visit for last week. I just wanted to let you know for your next visit, DAS can be pre-registered 2 to 30 days before your trip. So I always recommend to
request a live video chat with a Cast Member to begin the process about 2 weeks before you plan to arrive. The Cast Member will also ask you a few questions and sprinkle any further pixie dust on any assistance that your family may need for your magical adventure.
If it is better for you to call Disability Services at (407) 560-2547, or send an email to
disability.services@disneyland.com , those options are also available.
Tamika, have you downloaded the
Disneyland Mobile App yet? You’ll need it to scan your
theme park tickets upon entry, but more importantly, your
DAS Advance will be linked to your account. Since this is where you will be selecting return times throughout your day in the report, you and your royal guests will have a blast getting familiar with this app before your visit. Also, what I personally love the most about this app is that I can place
mobile orders for meals, snacks, and beverages so that I’m always one jump ahead of the breadline when I’m ready to eat!
I hope this information was helpful and that you come back real soon! If you think of any follow-up questions,
I’d love to help you again, now that you’ve got a friend in me!
Hakuna Matata,
Danielle
