Hi Cindy,
Welcome to planDisney!
Wow! Your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is in less than a month! If you have booked the Memory Maker (Advance Purchase), the good news is that once your
Memory Maker is linked in My Disney Experience, you should be able to start using it as soon as you arrive for your first official day. If you have booked a vacation package, that means, it becomes active on the first day of your vacation package. If you booked the One Day Memory Maker, it is active for a day of your choosing.
My family loves Memory Maker! Soon after we arrive, we take a photo with a
Disney PhotoPass Service® photographer and then I check the
My Disney Experience Mobile App 20-30 minutes later to make sure that photo appears in my Photo Gallery. If you are traveling with friends and family and do not see a photo linked,
try these instructions. Or, if you get home and do not see certain photos, you can also follow these
instructions to report missing photos.
Cindy, I am happy to know that you will have access to your photos from this trip. Honestly, Memory Maker has been such a good investment for us. We have so many photos from our trips with our girls over the years. They have gone from being 5-years old to being teenagers in the theme parks. Those memories are priceless! Remember to take at least one photo with a PhotoPass Service® photographer at each park. And, always check to make sure your attraction photos appear. The photos from TRON Lightcyle / Run are my favorite!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
