It sounds like you've run into a less-than-magical tech hiccup. These things happen, and I know firsthand that it can sometimes be tricky to transfer a MagicBand from one
My Disney Experience account to another. Since you have followed all the instructions for linking your band and it still isn't working as expected, I recommend calling
the hotline for My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+. The Cast Members who take these calls are tech experts and will be able to help you troubleshoot your MagicBand issues, and hopefully, you'll be able to get it connected before your trip next week.
Have you had the chance to check out
MagicBand+ yet? It's the newest version of MagicBand and has some cool new features. It will light up at nighttime spectaculars, help you interact with the
Fab 50 Character Collection, and more! There are so many fun designs available to choose from, and I recommend taking a look at
Creations Shop or
World of Disney on your upcoming trip.
