I had a disney account back in 2019 when I visited Disneyworld. I cannot remember my password and trying to get a new code . I will be visiting Disneyland Anaheim in June and wanting to set up an app for use in this park . Can you assist with this

Hi Kathy! I'm so glad you found your way to planDisney! It looks like you are making your way to the Happiest Place on Earth this summer! There is so much magic in store for you.

Now let's get all your logistics ready to go for your visit! Similar to your experience at Walt Disney World in 2019, the best way to navigate your days at the Disneyland Resort is by having an account on the Disneyland website and through the Disneyland Mobile App. On the website, you will see an option in the top navigation bar to "Sign In or Create An Account". If you are logging in with the same email you used for your last trip, it will recognize the address and ask you to enter your password. It sounds like this is where you are having a bit of a hiccup! You are able to create a brand new account if you have or would like to use an alternative email address. If not, you can request to have forgotten passwords emailed to you directly. If for some reason, that is still not working for you, I recommend giving our Cast Members in Website Support a ring. They have pixie dust at the ready just for this kind of situation!

One thing to note is that the Disneyland Resort does have its very own app, different from the Walt Disney World app. While they are similar in design, there have been lots of updates since your last visit and you'll definitely want to spend a bit of time in here ahead of your trip to make your park planning a breeze! In addition to park hours, attraction wait times and entertainment schedules, you'll be able to use the new Disney Genie Service. Imagine having the Genie in your pocket helping you to plan your perfect Disney Day!

One of my favorite features is Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering where you can pre-order meals and snacks from anywhere in the park. Standing in line for Haunted Mansion and craving Mickey beignets? No problem! Just pop on the app, place your order at the Mint Julep Bar and have them warm and waiting for you. You might need to get an extra for that ghost that might follow you home!

Kathy, I truly hope you found this helpful in your planning. You are in for such a treat this summer, and it looks like you will be visiting the week of Disneyland Resort's 67th anniversary on July 17th! Be sure to take a few moments to enjoy some of the opening day attractions like Mad Tea Party, Peter Pan's Flight and Jungle Cruise. All that Walt's original park has to offer!

    Keep wishing on those stars,
    Tara
