Does Disney accommodate guests with disabilities and how do I utilize this when entering the park

    Hi there, Keiana!

A warm welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question about the Disneyland Resort. It looks like you'll be visiting The Happiest Place on Earth next month - the countdown is on! You chose a terrific time to visit, Keiana. The Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort is in full swing - all that's missing is you!

"To all who come to this happy place, welcome!" Walt Disney's famous words welcomed Guests to the Disneyland Resort on its opening day, and they continue to resonate today, Keiana. The Disneyland Resort welcomes all Guests and is extremely accommodating to Guests with disabilities. Keiana, without knowing the nature of the disability, I encourage you to explore the available services for Guests with disabilities before your trip. Accommodations are available for Guests with mobility disabilities and/or cognitive disabilities to ensure that all Guests enjoy a magical experience at the Disneyland Resort! Keiana, I also want to point out that you can access helpful digital guides for Guests with disabilities for both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park to plan for your perfect Disney day.

Keiana, if a Guest's disability makes it difficult for them to tolerate extended wait times in a traditional queue setting, they may be eligible for Disability Access Service (DAS). Guests may pre-register for DAS Advance virtually via an online video chat with a friendly Cast Member up to 30 days before their scheduled arrival, but no later than two days prior to their visit. If the Cast Member determines that a Guest is eligible for DAS, the Guest will be able to pre-select two DAS Advance selections during their initial registration call. Then, once a Guest with DAS enters a theme park, they'll be able to make additional experience selections throughout their day by visiting a Guest Relations location or in the Disneyland Resort mobile app!

I hope that you find this information useful, Keiana. I'm wishing you a magical and memorable visit to the Disneyland Resort! If you have any additional planning questions, please feel free to stop back by planDisney again anytime. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
