    Is Disney still accepting cash

    Welcome to planDisney Bobbie Anne,

It is such a magical time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Not only is the 50th Anniversary Celebration happening right now, but during your visit, EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival will also be occurring. I’m always so impressed by what Imagineers can do with their living sculptures. Also, all of the fresh spring flavors are super refreshing and make the festival one-of-a-kind. With a little EARidescence and a little springtime fun, March is an ideal time to visit Walt Disney World Resort.

Walt Disney World Resort is currently encouraging Guests to utilize low-contact payment methods, including Disney Gift Cards, mobile wallets, and cash/debit cards. Personally, I really like that I can link my Disney Gift Cards to my Apple Wallet. I can just scan my phone and not worry about carrying my debit card around the parks. With that being said, you are still able to use cash at Walt Disney World Resort if that is your preferred method of payment.

Thank you so much for bringing your question to us. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with as you plan your upcoming trip.

    Happy Planning!
