when will Disney accept reservations for Fort wilderness in January of 2022

Hey there, Ronald. Thanks for checking in with us here at planDisney with a question about your trip! It sounds as though you, like me, are the kind of person who really enjoys planning ahead. I can't help but wonder if you and I could finish each other's...sandwiches, too. Then again, I suppose that's probably not the best idea in the midst of a global pandemic.

All joking aside, have you ever stayed at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort? My family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in the cabins there. I love how many options there are nearby for outdoor fun. We've done the Fort Wilderness Archery Experience and pony rides, too. Both were great experiences when our kids were younger. We also had a lot of fun exploring in our golf cart and wandering the walking trails.

As far as booking a stay for 2022 and beyond, I have to be the bearer of unfortunate news and that, of course, is no fun. For now, though, reservations are only being accepted through December 31, 2021. There is no word yet on when availability will open for dates in 2022. You're always welcome to call the Disney Reservation Center or continue checking back for extended booking availability at disneyworld.com

I'm sorry I can't provide that date for you, Ronald. I hope you get the news you're waiting on real soon! In the meantime, from one vacation planner to another, maybe you'll enjoy these tools that my panelist friends and I rely on as we nail down the details of our upcoming vacations.

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
