On disembarkation day can we bring empty glass bottles from the haunted mansion parlor off the ship with us

    Ahoy, Mark!

Welcome aboard planDisney! Whether your next voyage is aboard the Disney Treasure or the Disney Destiny, a stop at the Haunted Mansion Parlor is an absolute must. It’s delightfully eerie, frightfully fun, and—if you’re anything like me—you might just find yourself humming “Grim Grinning Ghosts” long after you’ve sailed away!

Now, when it comes to those ghostly glass bottles, the great news is that you should be able to bring empty bottles off the ship with no problem at all. The restrictions you’ll generally encounter typically involve full bottles—especially those containing alcohol—which must be unopened and fall within US Customs limits. Since yours will be empty, they’ll be perfectly fine to disembark with. That said, because the Ghost Host likes to keep us on our toes, I always recommend checking with one of the spirited Cast Members at the Haunted Mansion Parlor once onboard, just to confirm there haven’t been any changes.

My crew and I had the pleasure of sailing on the Disney Treasure this past March, and let me tell you—it’s a gem of a ship! While I didn’t try the Haunted Mansion Parlor sodas during that voyage, I believe the bottles you’re referring to are the ghoulishly good Grim Grinning Grape, Screaming Soda, Sour Shivers Lemonade, and Creepy Crawly Cola. You’ve officially added something new to my “must-try” list for our next adventure—especially if it means I get to take home a spooky souvenir or two!

If you have a DisneyBand+, be sure to give the Haunted Mansion Happy Haunt Hunt a try. It’s a brand-new experience where you can search for 13 mischievous ghosts that have escaped the Parlor and are now haunting different parts of the ship. Think of it as a ghostly game of hide-and-seek—Madame Leota would be proud!

I hope this helps you feel confident that your spirited souvenirs can safely follow you home. With a bit of luck (and maybe a few hitchhiking ghosts), you’ll have the perfect keepsakes to remember your time aboard.

Sea ya real soon with boo-tiful nights and frightfully fun days,
    Dustin
