Steve from OK Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

do you have discounts for USMC veteran. do you have payment plans available for my visit to Florida?

Hi Steve, and welcome to planDisney!

I’m a Navy spouse, and on behalf of my own  military family and my fellow panelists, I’d like to thank you for your service to our country. I’m glad to hear you’re planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort – it is always my family’s number one choice when we need a break and some good family fun!

Currently, there are discounted theme park tickets and discounts on Disney Resorts Collection rooms for eligible service members. If you are a retired or 100% service-connected disabled veteran, you should be eligible for the Military Promotional Theme Park Ticket offer and the discounted rates for select Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms; I linked to the Offer Details for both offers so you can check the eligibility requirements.

If you are eligible for the discounted theme park tickets, they may be purchased at your local base ticket office or from Shades of Green, the resort hotel for military members on Walt Disney World Resort property. If you find you’re not eligible for this offer, take a look at the Special Offers page to see if any other discounts might work with your plans.

As for payment plans, that is not currently something offered. However, if you book a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package, including theme park tickets and a resort hotel room, you will pay a deposit and can then choose to pay the balance in installments. The full balance is due 30 days in advance of your check-in date, and you can pay as much or as little as you would like in between. Some Guests choose to create their own payment plan by calling (407) 939-1936 to pay some of the balance in installments; you may also be able to make payments online through your My Disney Experience mobile app once you’ve made a resort hotel reservation.

I hope this helps as you begin to make your plans, Steve. Once you have your theme park tickets and resort hotel sorted out, be sure to make Disney Park Pass reservations for each day you plan to visit a theme park. I also recommend taking a look at the Know Before You Go information about the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, which will help you be prepared for your visit.

Thanks for stopping by, and please come back and see us if you think of any further questions.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
