Are there going to be any discounts for runners for the 2014 princess half as there have been in previous years (and perhaps every year since it started)? I was banking on discounts when I signed up and well... they seem to have done away with them.

Hi Ashley!

The 2014 Princess Half Marathon will not be offering discounts to runners, as it has in the past. (at least that is the case at this time. It is always subject to change, but I don't anticipate that it will)

This race weekend has grown in popularity so much, that it is now similar to marathon weekend in January. All of the Disney Resorts will be host resorts and have buses running to and from all race weekend events. But, there will be no room discounts or ticket discounts for runners.

You can keep an eye on the Disney World Special Offers page, though. Often, a special offer will apply to race weekends, and I use it to book my room/package.
