Cathie from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Are there any discounts if I want to purchase a ticket for my sister to go to Magic Kingdom with me for a day?

    Hey Howdy Hey, Cathie!

Welcome to planDisney, now let’s get planning! I’m the oldest of three girls and just love booking a trip with my sisters. We try and plan for a ‘sister trip’ every year! Our last one was at Disneyland Resort so next on the agenda for us is Walt Disney World.

The good news is, there are some incredible special offers currently available. And if you both are Florida Residents, then I recommend taking advantage of the Florida resident offer. It’s such a great deal and the perfect way to even expand your trip from one day to three or four!

Something else my sisters and I enjoy doing during our visits is coordinating our outfits to match or fit a certain theme. It’s a fun way to bond and express our personalities in different ways. We have noticed that the youngest will usually end up buying the same thing as one of us older girls, so we usually somehow end up matching more than coordinating. Most of our accessories are usually purchased while we are visiting, though. Ears, Mickey Ears are our weakness! We all end up purchasing new pairs and then sharing them throughout the trip to better match our outfits. Which reminds me, don’t forget to capture this trip!

Take tons of photos and really live in the moment. There’s something about visiting with my sisters that makes the trips so special. I think it’s just being able to reflect back on our childhood together and make new memories as adults that make each visit even more special. I hope that you get to experience this too!

Cathie, I hope this helps answer your question and get you and your sister back to the magic of Walt Disney World. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can help with as you plan for this upcoming visit.

You’ve got a friend in me,

    Shantel

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
