Welcome to planDisney Alejandra!
Oh, my friend, I totally understand! I am barely back from one Walt Disney World vacation or Disney Cruise and I start planning my next adventure! There are ways to save money, so let me give you some tips!
While there are no land/sea combination discounts, special offers are available. You will find deals for
Walt Disney World and
Disney Cruise Line. Check often as offers change and are based on availability. Offers may include discounts for WDW Annual Passholders,
Disney+ subscribers, Disney Visa discounts, and sometimes just seasonal discounts.
Another way to save money is to do a back-to-back Walt Disney World trip/Disney Cruise. Airfare is a big expense when traveling, so if you are already in Florida, extend your trip and have double the fun!
A great way to save money on a cruise is to check for a "Guaranteed Stateroom" in the category you want to be in. With this, you will not choose your exact room, but you will get a room assigned to you. I booked a 4-day cruise on the Dream in a guaranteed room and saved a lot of money and was assigned a great stateroom. Not every cruise offers this but keep an eye out for this option.
To save money at Walt Disney World, book a Value Resort, such as
Pop Century or the All-Star Resorts. These resorts are fantastic! The rooms are smaller, but you still get all the fun of being on Disney Property. When booking your cruise, check out the Inside Staterooms for the best value.
My final tip is to put a deposit down with a
"Placeholder" on your next cruise. By doing this, you will be able to book your following cruise (within 2 years) and get a 10% discount. This can really add up to quite a savings if sailing with your family or going for a longer cruise. Now, this won't help right now, but think about it on your next cruise to save on future sailings.
I hope you find the perfect vacation to fit your budget, and your "need" for more Disney! I am right there with you, so I will probably see you either at Walt Disney World or on a Disney Cruise real soon!
