Hiya, Virginia!
Welcome to planDisney! I am so very glad that you have stopped by with your Walt Disney World Resort planning questions. There are so many different discounts and options for Florida residents. Let's go through parking and pass options so you can continue to plan your magical adventure!
I'll start with parking, as this would be the very first thing you do at Walt Disney World. The current available annual pass, Disney Pixie Dust Pass,
does include complimentary parking. If you decide to purchase Floria resident theme park tickets rather than an annual pass,
a standard parking fee will apply to your visit.
When
buying theme park tickets for multiple days they do not have to be used consecutively. There will be a limited time period for use. I'll use the mentioned four-day pass as an example. You will have 7 days from the first date of the tickets to utilize all of your park days. If you were to purchase a 3-day pass you will have a total of 5 days to use them. When selecting your ticket type and dates on the calendar, you will see the date range the tickets must be used in before check out.
Once you have decided on tickets and dates, be sure to make your
Disney Park Pass reservations. Currently, all four theme parks require a reservation in addition to valid theme park admission. I recommend
checking the availability calendar before purchasing your tickets to be sure the theme park of your choice is available on your desired dates.
Virginia, I also want to encourage you to check out the
Special Offers, Deals, & Discounts page of the Walt Disney World website. There are often great deals offered for passholders and Florida residents! If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel during your visit, you will also receive complimentary theme park parking.
I hope that these tips help you determine the perfect ticket options to get started with your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
We'll see ya real soon!
