Walt Disney World is my family’s favorite vacation spot. In fact, my love for Disney began when I was a little girl, starting at Disneyland. The very first time my parents took us to Walt Disney World was pure magic. I remember being so young and feeling like a celebrity when my dad showed his GM ID near the main entrance of
Test Track, which allowed us to enter a special lounge. It was something I will never forget, and a core memory that, to this day, still makes my dad smile.
It’s been years since that first visit, and since then, I have grown up and even returned the favor by recently taking him on a trip. While I am no GM employee, just being able to drive my dad into the parks and share my knowledge was exciting. It felt like a full circle moment and a nod to thanking him for every trip he ever gave me.
