Are there any discounts at Disneyland for Disney World Annual passholders?

Hi there, Kari! Thanks for coming to see us at planDisney. I see that you are heading west from the Most Magical Place on Earth to the Happiest Place on Earth in just a few weeks! You are going to love exploring all the corners of Walt's Park and seeing where the magic began.

Currently, the Annual Pass program at the Walt Disney World Resort and the Magic Key Program at the Disneyland Resort do not share benefits. I do have to say, I have been loving my Enchant Key since upgrading in December. It feels like a dream having a little piece of the kingdom! As a fellow out-of-towner (hi from Philly!) and someone that has to plan out Disneyland trips a bit ahead of time, I have found the Enchant Key to be the perfect fit. I can schedule trips around any black-out dates and have been able to make theme park reservations fairly easily. I absolutely love the discounts offered on merchandise and dining and I cannot wait to try the Magic Key Terrace when I am at the parks later this month! Think of it as a little hideaway above Disney California Adventure Park with bites and signature cocktails inspired by the park's history. I especially love that I can tap into the Magic Key Portal in the Disneyland Mobile App from Philly. On these cold, gray winter days, I can easily feel like I'm right in the middle of the magic. Recently, I downloaded a Magic Key digital wallpaper so now I get a Disney dose every time I use my phone. I also watched a special video series just for key holders going behind the scenes on some favorite attractions with Disney Imagineers!

As someone who grew up going to Walt Disney World, I was completely swept away by all the nostalgia of Disneyland Park. On your way in, be sure to glance to the left and find the light in the window above the firehouse. This is Walt's apartment where he and his wife Lillian would often stay - how cool is that?! As you explore Disneyland Park, you can easily picture him wandering through each of the lands. One of my favorite things to do is take my time strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. and peeking at all the windows above the shops. You'll see the names of Disney legends and an honorary title giving you a clue to their contributions to the magic. Make a reservation at Carnation Cafe and try Walt's favorite chili. This spot nestled into a corner of Main Street also offers the best people-watching views as fellow Guests make their way to Sleeping Beauty Castle. Did you know you can actually walk through this castle and relive the story of Aurora herself? This was such a special attraction when my daughter was little. I can still remember her face lighting up when we told her we could go inside the castle!

Kari, the magic and nostalgia are almost at your fingertips! I hope you found this helpful in your planning. If you have any other questions, pop on over to see us again! We are always here for you at planDisney.

    Keep wishing on those stars!
    Tara
