Hi Paul,
Thanks for dropping by planDisney with your question! As a longtime annual passholder, I'm happy to share what I've learned about the benefits of the different passes that are available at Walt Disney World.
The Sorcerer Pass, which you asked about, is the one that my family chooses each year as the best match for our needs. This specific
annual pass is available only for Florida residents like me and to Disney Vacation Club members. Like all the annual passes, the Sorcerer Pass garners you a
variety of benefits, including special passholder offers for resort stays. (You also get discounts on merchandise and dining, free standard parking at the theme parks and many other perks.)
The Sorcerer Pass has just a few
blockout dates around Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years, which works with my family's schedule. It offers us the most flexible access to the theme parks at the best price.
If you are not a Florida resident or a DVC member, Paul, your annual pass option is the Incredi-Pass. It is available to any guest at Walt Disney World. Though it is a bit more expensive than the Sorcerer Pass, it is the only pass that offers 365-day access to the parks along with all the benefits of being an annual passholder. That includes special offers on resort stays and so much more.
I'm a huge fan of the passholder program and have been for almost 30 years. If you visit the parks regularly, passes offer great value on admission alone. When you add in the benefits, including the ability to park hop and the discounts, I think it's a winning situation.
I hope that helps you make your decision, Paul. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you.
Happy planning,
Wilma
