Are there any discounts for a child worh autism? He is 9. Also any resorts that sleep 6? 3 adults, 3 children

Hi there Theresa, and welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you're traveling with several grown lions and a few little cubs on your next vacation. Hakuna Matata! The family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort accommodate up to six Guests. With three sleeping spaces, two full bathrooms, and a kitchenette, there's room for a whole pack of hyenas! When your pride is ready to leave the savannah, you'll enjoy convenient Disney Skyliner and bus transportation. Check out planDisney's Pocket Guide to see more of what this incredibly themed resort has to offer.

In addition to the family suites, two-bedroom villas at Disney's Deluxe Villa Resorts sleep eight to nine Guests, so these would be another option to keep your group in the same space. Otherwise, consider reserving two rooms and request at the time of booking and during online check-in that they connect. When my little ones were babies, we'd frequently travel with a grandparent or two, and connecting rooms allowed the infants to sleep on one side of the door, while the adults convened on the other (with the adjoining door ajar, of course). Keep in mind that connecting rooms aren't guaranteed, but Cast Members do their best to meet Guests' needs.

Finally, while Disney doesn't offer special discounts for children with Autism, I encourage you to review some of the services available for Guests with disabilities. If you need anything specific at your Resort Hotel to make your stay more comfortable, send an e-mail to disability.services@disneyparks.com and they will be able to assist you. If your child has difficulty waiting in a crowded queue, I also recommend familiarizing yourself with the Disability Access Service. You'll need to stop by Guest Relations upon entering a theme park to add this to your My Disney Experience account, but it might make long wait times more tolerable for your party.

Best wishes for a wonderful vacation, Theresa, and if we can help further as the planning process continues, don't hesitate to reach out again.

    Thanks for stopping by,
    Betsy
