Hiya, Danyll! I'm so excited you came to planDisney to talk about the benefits of a
Disney Visa Debit Card. I've had the credit card for years, and just this week got one for my high school senior. Getting ready for college is a bit scary, so the Captain America design felt perfect!
I love your question, but unfortunately,
theme park tickets are not one of the many discounts included as a card benefit. Although it won't help cut the cost of the tickets, you will find some magical Pixie Dust inside the parks.
You can get
discounts on select merchandise in the retail stores. One tip: I am a huge fan of
Merchandise Mobile Checkout, but you will need to show your Disney Debit Card (and possibly an ID) to have the discount applied to your purchase. If your souvenir shopping has you spending $50 or more, it is worth standing in line.
Most table service restaurants also offer a
10% discount on dining. Even though they can easily see the Disney card, I always inform the Cast Member when they ask about Disney dining plans or other discounts.
One of my favorite perks is free:
Character Experiences! You can find cardmember-exclusive locations currently in EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. And you get free downloads of the pictures taken during this special meet-and-greet. A picture with Olaf (or any of the characters) is worth melting for!
Card benefits are always subject to change, so I review the list before each trip to make sure I don't miss a thing.
Since you live in the Sunshine State, you may want to check out the
special ticket offers for Florida residents. Currently, there are discounted
3-Day, 3-Park Tickets and 4-Day tickets for Florida residents.
Danyll, I hope this helps, even if it's not the answer you hoped to hear. If we can help with any other questions as you plan your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth, please stop back by
planDisney. You've got a friend in us!
Magic Awaits!
