Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, William! My entire family loves character meals for both the all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet offerings and the smiles on our kids faces as their favorite Disney characters arrive for hugs and photos!
You can find a few dining discounts if you’re wise like Owl and look hard enough. First up are the many benefits of having an
Annual Pass. I purchased my first AP this year, and have nearly doubled or tripled my value in terms of park tickets, merchandise discounts and my
beloved dining discounts. I receive 10% off at 1900 Park Fare and a heaping 20% off at Cape May, which means more money in my pocket for other splurges. Discounts vary at both character meals (like Be Our Guest) and quick service meals (like my beloved Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn). I budgeted for my AP and it has paid me back so many times! The other large discount option is
Tables in Wonderland, which gleans an even 20% at over 100 restaurants at Walt Disney World, but is only available to Annual Passholders, DVC Members and Florida Residents. If you have multiple visits during the year, Tables in Wonderland is a fabulous upgrade that will continue to help you save! I plan to split meals with a friend who has Tables in Wonderland next January, when we have several Advanced Dining Reservations at eateries such as Biergarten, Liberty Tree Tavern and my favorite character breakfast, 1900 Park Fare. I get to munch biscuits while greeting Mary Poppins!
Please return to the panel for other questions you may have about your upcoming vacation. I’m more eager than Tigger to help you plan. And as the stuffed tiger says, “TTFN, Ta Ta For Now!” ~ Lindsey P.
