Welcome to planDisney, Shevette!
Thanks for visiting us, now let's get planning for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You’ll be happy to see that there are some
incredible savings available on the Walt Disney World website. You can even find a few offers specific to
summer visits, which is when you are looking to visit! I recommend starting here to see if any of these savings are something that you are interested in.
After you’ve found a discount that suits your needs, you can check for resort availability and continue to
build and book your vacation package online. You also have the option of
calling the Walt Disney World Resort to speak with a Cast Member who can help complete your booking over the phone. It's up to you on how you want to book. I've done both online and over the phone, and both have been easy experiences that I really don't have a favorite way. I think just having a trip booked is my favorite part.
Now is the time to check out the different
resort options and decide which
tickets you are interested in purchasing. Think about things like how many days you want to visit and if you would like to park hop or enjoy one park per day. I always like to recommend planning your visit with a minimum of a 4-day theme park ticket. That way, you can enjoy and experience all four theme parks.
My family also likes to save on our resort and splurge in the parks. So we usually book at a
Value Resort. We’ve found that staying at a Value Resort still allows us to be completely submerged in the magic of Disney and maintain our budget. The outdoor decorations and themes are so incredible, you can see the magic come to life just steps outside of your room! If you have little ones traveling with you,
All-Star Movies is a great option and one of my son’s favorites because of the Toy Story section.
Shevette, I hope this helps you find the savings you are hoping to enjoy! Please visit us again if you have any additional questions as you continue to plan. We are always more than happy to help you make the most of your visit!
Enjoy,
Shantel
