Hello, Molly, and thanks for stopping by planDisney.
Molly, your question is near and dear to my heart because it made me reminisce about being in the parks with my grandmother. She loved the ambiance of the parks, but as she got older, she wasn't able to enjoy most of the rides or moving attractions. While there are no discounted tickets for guests who don't ride rides, I do have a few suggestions to help those in your party enjoy their day to the fullest.
All four parks at Walt Disney World offer entertainment including live performances. While there are many more, some of my favorites include the
Voices of Liberty at The American Adventure Pavilion located at EPCOT,
Festival of the Lion King located at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration located at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and the
Dapper Dans who can be found roaming around Magic Kingdom Park. My friend and fellow panelist, Aena, would also want me to give an honorable mention to the classic
Country Bear Jamboree located at Magic Kingdom Park.
With so many different experiences, Mouseketeers of all ages (even non-riders) can love their time in the parks with a bit of pre-planning. Molly, for anyone in your traveling party who might love
meeting characters, make sure to check out where you can snap pictures with some of your favorite faces on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App.
Over at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, all guests can become
Wilderness Explorers and spend time discovering and learning about
the many animals that call that park their home.
Molly, while likely not the answer you were wishing to hear, I do hope that it helps as you're thinking about how all members of your group can enjoy their time in the park. If you have any other questions, we would love to see you again here at planDisney.
Have a Magical vacation,
Lauren
