Are discount tickets offered for non-riders? I have a 13-year-old & a 2-year-old. I'm thinking of bringing my mom to assist with the little one when we are riding on more mature rides. My mom doesn't do rides at all.

    Hi, Darrenetta!

What a great idea to bring your Mom along to help with your little one while you and your older child hit the more adventurous attractions!

Many Guests who travel to Walt Disney World are there to enjoy the atmosphere, entertainment venues and milder attractions, without venturing onto the more intense ones. Thus, they'll all use the typical park admission to be able to do so (once in the park, every Guest is welcome to enjoy any combination of what the park has to offer.)

The good news is that your 2-year-old will not need a Walt Disney World ticket at all, as Guests ages 3 and up require a ticket for park entrance. That savings will surely help to offset the cost of your Mom's ticket. :-)

Be sure to read through this fantastic post entitled Little Ones at Disney Theme Parks. There, you'll find so many tips on attractions, dining, entertainment and so many more options that were created just for the youngest Guests and their families. There will be so much for all four of you to enjoy, Darrenetta! You're in for a wonderful trip!

Send more questions as you think of them, too; we love to help!
